This Privacy Policy explains how Swipes Cleaner (« the App », « we », « us ») handles your information. Swipes Cleaner is designed to help you review and free up storage on your device by finding duplicates, large videos, screenshots, Live Photos, and similar images. Your privacy is central to how the App is built.
ACCESS TO YOUR PHOTO LIBRARY
To do its job, the App asks your permission to access your photo library. This access is used only, and entirely on your device, to:
– Scan your library to identify duplicates, large videos, screenshots, Live Photos, and similar images;
– Display thumbnails and file information so you can decide what to keep or remove;
– Move items you select to your device’s « Recently Deleted » album when you choose to delete them.
Your photos and videos are never uploaded, copied off your device, or shared with us or anyone else. You can change or revoke photo access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos on your device.
DATA WE STORE
Any data the App keeps — such as cached file sizes or a count of how much space you have cleaned — is stored locally on your device only. It is never sent to us. Deleting the App removes this local data.
INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
– We do not collect your photos, videos, or their contents.
– We do not collect personal identifiers, contacts, or location.
– We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
– We do not display advertising.
– We do not create user accounts.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App uses Apple’s standard system features (for example, to show the native rating prompt or the system share sheet). Any interaction with the App Store or other Apple services is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected or transmitted, the App does not build profiles of users of any age.
YOUR RIGHTS
Because Swipes Cleaner does not collect or hold your personal data on any server, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You retain full control of your photos and of the App’s local data directly on your device.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the « Last updated » date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
